Debra Vack-Hynson

Deb began her career quite by happenstance when a contractor friend saw the faux finished walls she’d done in her her new home and said, “Wow.  My boss would love these walls!”  His boss happens to be one of the more reputable builders in the Harrisburg area.  Deb showed him her work, he liked what he saw and gave her an opportunity to display her work in his model home which was on Parade of Homes in 1993.  Soon, a business was born.  Sixteen years later, ColourFaux has expanded it’s portfolio from simple ragged walls to highly sophisticated painted finishes, polished plasters, texture finishes and fine art.

David Hynson

Because of his twenty year background in renovating, home building, Deb’s husband, David can do a lot more that just prep and paint walls.  He can offer our clients an array of skills that both complement and enhance the normal faux finisher’s repertoire.

Trevor Hynson

Trevor is an incredible artist, who enjoys working in all medias: oil pastels, paint, pencil, wood carving, and most recently, metal sculpture. He takes his eye for compostion, design and his wildly creative imagination and puts them to good use, offering our clients and even broader range of art, including logo designing, graffitti art and basically some very cool art that is just a bit off his mother’s more traditional radar.
